Code Enforcement works in partnership with the citizens of Bristol to promote a safe and desirable living & working environment. Property maintenance is critical in preserving investment and quality of life in neighborhoods. It is the goal of Code Enforcement to gain compliance, not punish violators. Common code enforcement issues include but are not limited to a substandard, dangerous, or dilapidated building, dangerous property conditions, structures that fail to meet minimum exterior standards, performing construction without permits, tall grass or excessive vegetation.
