What methods of payment do you accept?

We only accept cash, money orders, cashier checks, business checks, or personal checks as forms of payment at the counter in the tax office. We do not accept credit card payment at the counter.  You may pay by MasterCard, Visa or ACH from the comfort of your home online at www.bristolct.gov.  You may pay Current tax bills during the collection months of July and January at a M & T Bank Branch; branch does not have to be in Bristol.  Delinquent motor vehicle taxes that are at least six months old must be paid in cash, certified check or money order.
